Hon. Josephine Pedun Ngora district woman member of parliament elect has sponsored the first leg quarter finals game between Teso province with Lango in Ngora district where they will be playing at Ngora High School playgrounds on 22 March, 2026.
Bunyoro will Play West Nile while Acholic play Busoga on 21, March. Teso play Lango, then Buganda play Tooro on 22 and the return leg for Teso will be on the 29th March.
Amidst financial challenges in Teso province, Hon. Josephine Pedun seems to have come at the stage that the team need sufficient financial support after the went to play Tooro and Kampala in the second and last fixtures of the group stage matches respectively without key players. Some of the key players included Ibrahim Orit, Oloro Nathan, Siwu Micheal, Matovu Hassan and vipers striker Isaac Ogwang
John Odongo the province coordinator revealed the development while calling upon the fans to come and support the team. “First and far most I would love to thank the woman member of parliament elect Ngora district, Hon. Josephine Pedun for support she is contributing towards the province. I think these are the kind of leaders Teso needs”. He noted.
Teso became number two with five points on group D below Tooro who led the group with six points, but they ended in the semi finals in the previous edition.
