The Iteso cultural union (ICU) prime minster, Andrew Ochole through the office of Emorimor has rallied the people of Teso to come together and support Teso province as they take on Lango on Sunday, 29th march 2026.
Achole reminded people that last time lango came here the other Sunday Teso the langi stormed with a lot morale for their team which now calls for every necessary support and with reminder that its our responsibility as people of Teso to support the team.
“When Teso is beaten people outside will not say that they have beaten just the mere team, but instead they beaten the entire Teso, we need to protect the name of Teso that’s why we need to go and supports the boys.” Ochole stated.
But according to the information minister at ICU (Iteso Cultural Union), Steven Ojacor, he reaffirmed ICU’s supports toward the province ahead of the Sunday clash with Lango province, picking an example of how England supports their English clubs. He also furthered noted that there is a possibility of us creating a league like that of England in order to support our talent.
“I have just talked to papa Paul Sande Emolot the ‘the Emorimori’, about supporting the team and I am calling upon all the people of Teso that this our very own team. Let’s support our own. Ojajor Stated
“We can tomorrow create our own league like in that of England but come Sunday let supports our team Teso”. Ojacor added
Ahead of Sunday, fans across the Teso sub-region are rallying each other with a lot of anticipation building around Teso ahead. Teso drew 0-0 with lango last Sunday at home with second leg slated for a Sunday 29th march 2026.
