Olila high School FC is going to face Kampala queens tomorrow Saturday, 7th March, 2026 at home without a head coach after the resignation of Amos Opolot.
The club is sitting on the bottom of the FUFA women’s super league table with only 3 points from 13 matches played. The devastation within Olila also follows the departure of several of their key players this summer.
Their captain Amangat Marion joined Kampala queens, Lwalisa Docus who joined St. Noah girl women FC while Eunice Arioko embarked on her life profession outside football. Amangat played for Olila for over eight years and became one of the club’s long serving players, whereas Lwalisa Docus got national team call up through the guidance of Cifu mpande and Amos Opolot.
“We are entering into this fixture without a coach ahead but we believe in the team that we have and we believe we can win against Kampala queens. We are also optimistic that the club will get someone to take care as the search for the head coach continues”. Our closed source to the club who demanded for anonymity revealed.
Olila will face well organized side Kampala queens who are in third position with 25 points and have only lost two, drawn four and won seven.
Olila was again relegated in the 2022/23 season where they ended bottom with only 17 points after the club again made different sanctions on their squad. The uncertainty of their future this season hangs in the air as they embark on their third fixture of the second leg after a goalless draw against Makerere and 4-1 defeat against Rines women Football club.
