Coach Simon Otim in advanced stages of conversation to joining west Nile giants Onduparaka due to his current club failure to fulfill the contractual agreement.
Calvary FC have come a long way with coach Simon Otim since joining the club in the FUFA big league in the 2024/25 season. He was able attain a memorable achievement in the club’s history by qualifying the team into the Uganda premier league for the first time.
After qualifying the team to Uganda premier league, Otim went back to attain CAF B coaching license before returning to care take Calvary on one contract after coach Kintu was sacked because of poor results.According to reports from midigo the club’s failure to honor the contractual agreement happens to be the major cause of the closed separation of the two parties.“Calvary failed to fulfill some parts of the contractual agreement that we signed amidst my other challenges that I have”. Otim stated.
Reports also indicate that onduparaka is insearch of ahead coach as their performance get worse by the day. Otim also acknowledged the approach from Onduparaka where the move is imminent. Otim resumed work after his CAF B course in November 2025, where he has managed nine matches, drawing five and losing four.Calvary battles relegation with only 5 points from 15 match in the Uganda premier league. And on the hand on Onduparaka in fourteenth position with seventeen points.
