Tangosport Uganda and Eastern Motor Club are set to ignite the motorsport scene with the Ani Asinga Grassroots Motorbike and Rally Event, happening on December 31st, 2025, at Nakalama in Iganga District!
The launch was lit , with SP Tusiime Annet, Officer in Charge of Iganga, praising the initiative for nurturing local talent and entertaining the community. “This event is a big win for talent development and entertainment in our district!” she said. She also highlighted the impressive participation of women in motocross, breaking stereotypes and showing their skills.
Security is guaranteed, with the Inspector General of Police assuring tight measures on event day. Eastern Motor Club President Kees Kagolo outlined the event’s goals: promoting grassroots motocross and safety awareness, with proceeds supporting local rally drivers Mansul Sanya and Amir Kawesa.
Tangosport Uganda’s Mutaka Joseph thanked sponsors, partners, and the Nakalama community for their support. “Come one, come all! Let’s show up and test our capacity to host continental-level motorsport events!”
