Joseph Emitu Exits Teso Warriors and Joins Eastern Rovers

Regional League side Teso Warriors have officially parted ways with Head Coach Joseph Emitu after a successful season at the helm in the North East Regional League.

Following his departure from Teso warriors, Coach Emitu has agreed to join Eastern Rovers, a Fourth Division side currently preparing for the upcoming Northeast Fourth Division League 2026/2027 season.

Emitu leaves Teso Warriors with an enhanced career following a campaign in which he demonstrated strong leadership, tactical discipline, and a firm commitment to youth development. Throughout his tenure, he provided opportunities for many young players to showcase their abilities, helping them gain valuable competitive experience and attract attention from bigger clubs within and beyond the region.

Eastern Rovers believes his experience and passion for developing young talent will play a key role in achieving its ambitions in the new campaign.

Emitu who is Known for placing trust in young players has built a reputation as a coach who is not afraid to give emerging talent a platform to perform. His philosophy focuses on player development, creating pathways for promising footballers to compete at higher levels and be identified by larger teams.
In a statement from Teso Warriors, they wish Emitu the best in his future endeavors.

He has also previously coached teams like Myda as an assistant, Aloet parents school team, Atira White Angels FC, Junior Eagles FC, Teso Warriors FC and currently also serves as the Assistant Coach of Soroti University.

As he embarks on this challenge, the move will be to see the new club rise to the top through his hands in the North East Regional League.
